Newly released materials from the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s activities have been made public by the HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE, which announced Wednesday that it received a full production of photos and videos from the GOVERNMENT OF THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS documenting interior and exterior locations across Epstein’s private island residence. These materials were formally turned over to Congress as part of the committee’s ongoing review of records tied to the Epstein estate, creating the first publicly accessible collection of visual evidence sourced directly from government authorities and released through an official congressional body.
In a public statement, the HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE confirmed that the package includes never-before-seen photos and videos recorded during the investigation undertaken by the GOVERNMENT OF THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS. The committee described the materials as part of the official record produced to congressional investigators and stated that the release was made available to ensure transparency regarding the handling of evidence connected to the long-running case. According to the committee’s statement, the materials were obtained directly from investigative authorities in the U.S. Virgin Islands and provided to Congress without redaction.
Among the images released, the materials depict rooms, interior spaces, equipment, and artifacts located within Epstein’s residence on the island. These include bedroom areas, living quarters, furnishings, decor, and specialized rooms photographed during the investigative process conducted by the GOVERNMENT OF THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS. The HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE stated that the production represents what was supplied to Congress and made available for public review exactly as received. The committee also emphasized that the release fulfills part of its responsibility to provide transparency over the materials currently in congressional possession.
The statement from the HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE also indicated that the committee is continuing its request for additional information from federal agencies regarding further Epstein-related records that may be subject to release under ongoing inquiries. Lawmakers noted that they have asked for clarification from federal personnel concerning what other materials exist, what has already been reviewed, and which records are undergoing evaluation for future disclosure.
The visual evidence released Wednesday reflects only the items transmitted from the GOVERNMENT OF THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS to Congress and does not include materials held by other federal entities. The committee reiterated that it is seeking a complete accounting of all records in official custody. These newly posted materials provide a public look at a portion of the investigative documentation gathered by territorial authorities and formally entered into the congressional record.
