Henry Street in Buckhannon remains closed as crews continue work on a sewer line installation project along the roadway. According to BUCKHANNON CITY HALL, the ongoing closure is directly tied to the sewer infrastructure upgrades currently underway.
City Hall staff told the Appalachian Post they have not been informed of a specific time frame for when the installation will be completed. Workers confirmed the project is active but no projected reopening date has been communicated to their office.
The Appalachian Post also contacted the BUCKHANNON WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT for further information. A plant employee said they were unable to provide a timeline at this time. A callback number was left for a supervisor or other authorized staff to provide an update when available.
